Wilson Avenue Before & After

The home at 1251 Wilson Avenue was purchased by my client at Auction in 2019. The home was a total “gut job”, but there were so many incredible original features that were salvageable it really made this home stand out compared to other properties that we had viewed. Not shown, is the exterior which was all brick and a large yard that was given a privacy fence and a detached 2 car garage.

The home sold with Multiple Offers and $12,100 over asking price.

The home had the original hardwood floors in tact and they were in amazing condition, they just needed refinished. Walls were opened up between the Kitchen/Dining/Living Areas. The original (now decorative) fireplace was cleaned up and the mantle was painted.

The shared Dining Room/Kitchen wall was opened up allowing for an eat-in Kitchen with peninsula.

Part of what was the original Kitchen had to make way for a half bath near the back door.

The stairway railing was able to be restored and the brick wall exposed going up the stairway.

The 2nd floor Full Bath was reconfigured to allow for a soaking tub and a freestanding shower as well as double vanity sinks.

The original 8 panel doors seen in the before photos were all salvaged but needed to be painted.
